“Blessed are you in the city; blessed are you in the field.” One should not say, “Had the Creator given me a field, I would pay tithing from it. Now that I have no field, I am giving nothing.”

The Creator said, “See what I wrote in the Torah, ‘Blessed are you in the city,’ to those who dwell in cities, and ‘Blessed are you in the field’ to those who have fields.”
