484. He Whom the Lord Loves He Admonishes - 2
“He whom the Lord loves He admonishes.” That is, the Creator sends suffering to those He loves, meaning that they will suffer that they are not walking on the path of the Creator. Conversely, one who does not feel any suffering at not walking on the path of the Creator will never seek advice how to be saved from it.
