You Who Tremble at His word
518. “Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word: ‘Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed.’” Since it is written, “Hear the word of the Lord,” what is “You who tremble at His word”?
519. However, in every place, the word of the Lord is faith, Malchut, except where it is written, “Hear the word of the Lord.” This is a matter that emerges from that degree that he calls “the word of the Lord,” and it is the degree that is on it, ZA, who is on Malchut. “Hear the word of the Lord” is a word that comes out from the Creator, from ZA, as it is written, “Hear the word of the Lord, O nations,” a matter that emerges from that degree, the Lord, who is ZA.
520. “You who tremble at His word.” That very degree, Malchut, is called “word.” They who tremble are Israel, who are always anxious to correct the Malchut. Anxious with several anxieties among the nations.
521. “Your brothers who hate you said.” These are the children of Esau and the children of Ishmael. “Who cast you out,” who are cast out from you, so you do not eat with them or drink with them, or draw near them. This is why they are cast out from you.
522. “Who cast you out,” in your exile, as it is written, “Move aside, impure one, they called them.” And what are they saying? “For the sake of my name, let the Lord be glorified,” meaning that all His glory is for us. When Israel awaken and expect each day the joy of the redemption of the Creator, they do not believe at all. They say, “We will see your joy,” when your joy comes down, but now, we do not believe. “They will be ashamed.” It should have written “You will be ashamed,” as one who attributes his fault to another.
