At Mealtime, Boaz Said to Her

526. It is written, “At mealtime, Boaz said to her,” when Malchut is established from upper ones and lower ones. From the lower ones—with sacrifices, burnt offerings, prayers, and the will of the desire that rises from the lower ones. From the upper ones—with corrections of the Merkavot and the Cherubim, with her food, with joy and with good will. Then it is at mealtime.

527. The will of the righteous, Yesod of ZA, Boaz, lives to her, and she is established on her Merkavot. “He said to her, ‘Come over here,’” with decorations of the upper king. “And eat of the bread,” meaning accept food, will, a holy dish, to dispense to your holy camps above and below.

528. Nevertheless, “dip your bread in vinegar.” You should accept by way of dipping in that vinegar that is on the left side, in order to nurse the evil side, so it nourishes the other nations, and they will be nourished by it.

529. “He passed roasted grain to her,” food that comes from a fire, from judgments of the left side, in order to give food and prey to all, even to dogs and to all those who emerge and expand from the other side, of impurity.

530. Then, “and she ate and was satisfied, and left some.” She ate and was satisfied from that holy dish. “And left some” of that other dish, the vinegar and the roasted grain on the left side, which comes and stays. It stays since it is a food that is eaten to satiation. “And left some,” made that dish that remains for the food for the other side.

531. “And Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry,” teaching that he blessed for his food. “And his heart was merry,” he blessed that place called the “heart of Malchut.”
