No Grave Is for Nothing
674. It is written, “And that soul will be cut off from before Me.” If the soul is cut off, what will become of that body? If it is canceled, then several grades are for nothing, several markings are for nothing, since afterwards, when the Creator rebuilds that soul as in the beginning in this world, when he reincarnates into this world, you will find that the first body, which he left, has gone and the grave is empty, meaning that there is no action in it for the sake of the body. Thus, can it be that several bodies have been lost, and several graves are for nothing, pointless?
675. However, the Creator does not consume the work of His hands, but only from earth and from below these heavens, and they go down below this earth and are built in a different existence within those lower ones, in a section called Neshiya [oblivion]. They will be forgotten for generations, since Neshiya means oblivion, from the words, “for God has forgotten me.”
676. There are seven lands below: Eretz, Adamah, Arka, Gui, Neshiya, Tziya, Tevel. Tevel is our section. These bodies were lowered to Neshiya since they forgot their master’s commandment and did not engage in multiplication and did not let the holy covenant spread in the world. For this reason, they will be forgotten in Neshiya throughout the generations, and there is never a grave for nothing or a tomb for nothing.
677. In that section, Neshiya, there are only those who are called “bodies for nothing,” since they went down there for nothing and they do not bear offspring since there are no women among them. They sow and eat, and forget all that they do.
678. Since the souls were not built with sons in this world, they are repelled from several gates. They walk and roam this world until they find themselves a redeemer, meaning a brother who marries his wife and the soul of the dead incarnates in the son who is born to them. These souls are called “neighbors.” This is the meaning of what is written, “And the women her neighbors gave it a name.” And that body which comes from the levirate marriage is built to exist in Tevel, his land, and he does not go down to Neshiya.
