Adam HaRishon Did Not Have Anything from This World

60. “Every one of you shall fear his mother and his father.” It is a commandment to honor the father and the mother. One should fear one’s father and one’s mother and honor them, just as one should honor the Creator and fear Him, from the side of the spirit He has placed within him. Similarly, he should honor his father and mother from the side of his body, and fear them, for they participate with the Creator and made for him a body. And since they are partners in the act, they should also be partners in the fear and the honor.

61. Likewise, there are three partners above in man. Although the body of Adam HaRishon was from dust, it was not the dust that is here, in this world, but from the dust of the Temple above, in the world of Beria. Abba and Ima were found; they are ZA and Malchut, and the upper king, Bina, participated with them and sent into him the spirit of life, and he was created. Similarly, in the three partners, everything is present above and below. For this reason, one should fear the Creator, and fear his father and mother.

62. Adam HaRishon was not from this world, from Malchut of the quality of judgment. One righteous, Yesod of ZA, had intercourse with the Nukva, in Malchut that was clothing Bina, and one body was made from this intercourse, whose illumination was more than all the messenger angels above. When that body was created, the upper king, Bina, sent to the righteous, Yesod of ZA, twenty-two letters, and Bina participated with them, and he went out to the world.

63. When Adam HaRishon went out to the world, the sun and the moon saw him and their lights became concealed, for the apple of the leg of Adam HaRishon darkened their light since he came out from the act of the upper sun and moon, ZA and Malchut. When he sinned, he became dark and diminished himself, and needed another body, in skin and in flesh, as it is written, “And the Lord God made leather garments for the man and his wife, and clothed them. As the intercourse that that righteous did with the Nukva for the birth of Adam HaRishon, it was not present before or after, since the craftsman has not yet become a jeweler.

Adam HaRishon was born and emerged from the coupling of ZA and Malchut. However, at that time, ZA and Malchut were clothing AVI, and the lower one that clothes the upper one becomes like it. Hence, Adam HaRishon was born from Ima, YESHSUT, Bina. Adam HaRishon was not from this world, for he had nothing in him from the phase of Malchut, called this world. Although his body was from dust, from Malchut, which is called dust, it was not dust from here, from Malchut in her place, such as now, but rather from the dust of the Temple above, Malchut that clothed Ima, who is called “the upper Temple,” for at that time, she is completely similar to Ima, Bina, and she has nothing of her own phase.

However, after he sinned and ate from the tree of knowledge, Malchut was blemished by his sin, descended from Bina, and fell to BYA. He, too, fell and descended with her to Assiya, and Malchut of the quality of judgment was revealed in him. Then he had to have in him from that Malchut, and needed another body, in skin and flesh, where there would be the phases of ZA and Malchut, since the skin is Malchut and flesh is ZA. It is written, “And the Lord God made for the man and his wife leather garments and clothed them,” that a coupling was made from ZON in their own place, and they continued to give him leather garments, Malchut, in whom there is a mixture of Malchut of the quality of judgment, who must be purified and refined, and from whom the waste is extended.

There was no such intercourse before or after, since ZA and Malchut were still not in such a high state before that, since at that time, they were corrected from the breaking of the vessels and rose so high in order to give birth to Adam HaRishon on the degree of Bina. It is even more so afterwards, that there will not be such a great ascent. Although now, too, there are ascents of ZA and Malchut to upper AVI, it is only on Shabbat, since the day causes, but then it was because of themselves, since they were completely purified from the phase of Malchut of the quality of judgment through the Emanator.

The craftsman has still not emerged into a jeweler, when they were at the highest virtue until there was no issue of the Emanator coming out to purify and whiten the degrees from the waste that comes through Malchut of the quality of judgment. Conversely, after the sin, Malchut of the quality of judgment has already become mingled in all the degrees and must be purified and whitened.

64. Until Enoch came and the Creator took him from the earth, and the waste was sorted from it and separated from the silver. It is likewise with all those righteous ones on the earth. Afterwards, Malchut was corrected, Malchut of the quality of judgment was concealed in her and she is no longer apparent. At that time, spirits and souls were made from the coupling of ZA and Malchut, and the body below, in the earth. For this reason, in the partnership above and below, man comes into the world, and he should fear those partners and honor them.
