They Stand Together
243. When it emerged in his thoughts to create the worlds, at that time, the upper ones and lower ones and all that is in them were created, as it is written, “When I call them, they stand together.” Do not pronounce it Eleihem [them] but Elokim [God], teaching that He created them with a Hey, which is Malchut, who is called Elokim, and through her, they will stand together, as it is written, “Who is Like You among the gods, Lord?”
“Who is like You among the gods,” who can create heaven and earth? Rather everything was created by God, and not by gods, as the word Elim [gods] lacks the Hey from the name Elokim [God], which is “He created them with a Hey.” That Hey is like a treasure filled with all the needs of the house, for then they know that there is everything there, everything they need.
244. The Creator created His world with three things: an author, a book, and a story. Corresponding to them, in Hochma, in Tevuna, and in Daat. An author means Hochma [wisdom]; a book means Tevuna [gumption], and Daat [reason/knowledge] is the story from the author and the book, as it is written, “The Lord established the earth with wisdom,” and as it is written, “established the earth with gumption.” With Daat is as it is written, “By his knowledge the depths are broken up.”
All the worlds were created only with Hochma, as it is written, “In the beginning God created,” and beginning is Hochma. This is as it is written, “He created them with a Hey,” which is Malchut, since the three of them, HBD, are incorporated in her.
