The Holy Idra Zuta - HS of AA and Hochma that Was Revealed
48. The correction of holy Atik is that it was corrected in one correction, which is the entirety of all the corrections, and it is the hidden, upper Hochma, the third Rosh of AA, which is the entirety of all the rest. It is called the “upper, hidden Eden, and it is the Moach of holy Atik.
That Moach expands to every side, and another Eden expands from it, which is upper AVI, the bottom Eden. Hochma is carved out of that Eden, and comes to be revealed in YESHSUT, in ZA, and in Malchut, which is the bottom Hochma, in which the Hochma is revealed.
The light of Hochma is the entirety of all the corrections and the Mochin, since all the Mochin of GAR in the Partzufim come from Hochma, and Hassadim without Hochma are VAK without a Rosh. This is why it was said that the correction of holy Atik is the entirety of all the corrections, and it is the upper, hidden Hochma, which is the entirety of all the rest, since the Hochma is the entirety of all the Mochin.
This Hochma of AA was concealed, and only Bina, which returned to Hochma, shines to the lower ones through AVI and YESHSUT. HS is called the upper, hidden Eden, which does not expand to the lower ones. It is the Moach of holy Atik that shines only for itself.
The illumination of that Moach expands through the Rosh of AA itself to every side, to the Metzah of AA and to the Se’arot Rosh and Dikna. However, to shine to the lower ones, another Eden expands from it: Bina that returns to Hochma, AVI, who are called “upper Hochma,” and who are also called “Hochma of the thirty-two paths.” From AVI, Hochma is carved and revealed in YESHSUT and in ZA and in Malchut.
The bottom Eden, AVI, is the medium between HS and the lower ones, for only AVI receive from Dikna, and the Dikna receives from MS [Mocha Stimaa], and AVI bestow upon the lower ones.
After The Zohar explains that HS shines and expands in the Rosh of AA to every side, it explains how the Metzah receives from it the Hochma at the time of Gadlut, in order to bestow upon ZON, and not for itself, since for itself, it chooses Hassadim. This is why it is called the “Metzah of the Ratzon.”
