Greenish Gold, Closed Gold, Bottom Gold

32. Upper gold, which is the gold of ZA, is hidden, and its name is “closed gold,” closed from the eye, which does not control it.

Bottom gold is the gold of Malchut. It is more revealed, and it is called “greenish gold.” We learn, “Ester was greenish,” the color of citron, and the color of citron and the color of gold are one.

The gold of Malchut is Rosh in concealment, although it is revealed toward the upper gold, ZA, until it is drawn and is present on the Rosh [head of] Gabriel. For this reason, everything is in a high secret, ZA, and that secret is drawn downward, to Malchut and to Gabriel.

The illumination of Hochma on the left, which shines in all this wholeness in clothing of Hassadim, is called “gold.” It shines in the Rosh of ZA, meaning in GAR of ZA and in the Rosh of Malchut.

The difference between the gold in the Rosh of ZA and the gold in the Rosh of Malchut, which are both illumination of Hochma in the left, is that the upper gold of ZA is hidden, for the illumination of Hochma is hidden and does not shine in him, since ZA is always in Hassadim that are covered from Hochma. For this reason, its name is “closed gold,” closed from shining.

The bottom gold of Malchut is more revealed since Malchut is the place to reveal the Hochma. Hence, Hochma is revealed in her more than in ZA, and it is called “greenish gold.” We learn, “Ester was greenish,” the color of citron, for greenish and the color of citron are one, the color of the revelation of the illumination of Hochma in Malchut, who is called Ester.

However, the gold of Malchut is a Rosh in concealment since the gold of Malchut is still concealed and is not revealed. Although it is revealed toward the upper gold, for toward the gold of ZA, it is regarded as revealed, it is still concealed in it since illumination of Hochma is not revealed in Malchut herself but in her Merkava, in the four angels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael, until it is drawn and is present on the Rosh of Gabriel, who is the left line in the Merkava of Malchut, and the illumination of Hochma is revealed in it completely.
