Lion, Ox, Eagle, Man – 1

81. When the Messiah comes, each of the patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—will show his operation. This is the meaning of the words, “Let the earth bring forth living soul after its kind.” The earth, meaning the animals in the earth, brought forth its offspring, each according to its pedigree, according to the root from which it was extended. This is the seed of Isaac, who is living soul after its kind. The seed of Isaac is a kind of living soul, and its seed in the nation of Israel is a seed of the uneducated people among them, since animal means ox, the degree of Isaac.

82. “And God said, ‘Let the waters swarm with swarms of living soul.’” These are the ones with Hochma [wisdom], living soul, which are as fish that multiply in the sea of Torah. They are from the side of the lion in the sea, who is like a minister in the sea, since the lion of the other side is unfit, and is on land. The sealion is to the right, it is Abraham. In it, he who wishes to grow wise will go south.

83. “And let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens.” This is the face of an eagle, the seed of Jacob, those with commandments of the Torah.

84. “And God said, ‘Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear,’ and it was so.” The dry land is the man, who was taken from four sides—south, north, east, and west—in the dust. When the words, “the earth was dried,” from the waters of the flood, from the shells, they will come out from the exile. The dry land is the man, for it is written, “and it was so,” which is seventy years, since Ken [so/yes] is seventy in Gematria. That is, the man, whose years are seventy, was created.
